Baby Grant

Now this is by far the best part of my job as a photographer.  My friend, Erica and her husband Shawn brought this sweet little boy into the world a little over a week ago and I have already had the privilege of meeting him! He liked me so much that he literally pooped on my hand (Ha!). Which totally did not phase this mom of four! Poop when they only consume breast milk? Yeah, girl, I've got this!

There's just something sweet about experiencing motherhood for the first time...everything is so new and so overwhelming.  You begin to wonder if you're really cut out for this mommy stuff.  And then God whispers to your soul..."You were made for this." I think that's truly why newborn photography is my favorite.  I remember those days so well...it's so hard but so worth it.

Weeks turn into months and months turn into years and before you know it you don't have any idea where the newborn baby went.  I'm thankful to have been chosen to freeze time for a minute for this sweet family!
